Double-blinded research study software

MagVenture’s Research Study System software makes it possible to conduct double-blinded research studies where neither the operator nor the patient knows who receives real TMS treatment and who receives sham treatment. Once the parameters have been set on the MagPro and the research study is ongoing, only the MagPro knows who receives real treatment and who receives sham. It is also possible to do studies that are only blinded for the patient, but where the operator knows who receives real treatment and who receives sham treatment. Operator codes and subject codes (randomization treatment numbers) are included.
